Description of Puppy Foundations & Adventure Training
4 Week - Puppy Training Program Includes:
Puppies in the 4-week program will continue on with the elements of the 2-week program and build confidence.
Please keep in mind that it is not possible for a puppy to be 100% reliably house-trained until the puppy has matured which is usually between the ages of six to eight months. By following the rules set out in this 4-week program, accidents should be minimal after the initial transition period of three to four days.
The 8 week program is about mastering all the components of basic obedience training and start advanced obedience training
From this program you can expect the following behaviors:
A training session with puppy’s family is provided.
There is an anticipated transition period the dog will go through when first arriving home, but we will have great guidance on what to expect and how to get through it as quickly and seamlessly as possible from your dog’s practice transitions.
12 Week - Puppy Training program Includes:
Your puppy will be crate trained and house-trained, show good manners and be consistent with the obedience commands “Come”, “Sit”, “Stay”, “Leave It” and “Touch.”
Consistency and reinforcement are building blocks of success and puppy success is our goal in the training program.
A training session with puppy’s family is provided.
There is an anticipated transition period the puppy will go through when first arriving home, but we will have great guidance on what to expect and how to get through it as quickly and seamlessly as possible from your puppy’s practice transitions.

- 2 week Puppy Training Program Includes:
- Your puppy will be on a schedule of eating, drinking, and going potty to make transition house training much easier.
- Your puppy will be introduced and familiar with crate training, meaning in most cases your puppy can hold potty and remain quiet overnight 6-8 hours depending on the age of the puppy and for a few hours during the day.
- Your puppy will start to learn the basic obedience commands, like “sit”, “down”, “come.” "Leave it" and" watch me"
- Also name recognition
- Socialization and meeting people
- Introduction to loose leash walking
4 Week - Puppy Training Program Includes:
Puppies in the 4-week program will continue on with the elements of the 2-week program and build confidence.
- Your puppy will be working on leash training and gaining confidence with proper leash behaviour.
- Your puppy will start to master the potty training process , signaling the need to go outside to potty.
- Your puppy will be introduced to grooming and maintenance such as brushing, ear cleaning, nail trimming.
- Also alot of focus on impulse control ( teaching the puppy how to control his/her energy)

- Your puppy will learn to show appropriate behaviours in a real world settings and use manners with new people. Your dog receives many opportunities to practice and gain experience in real world situations.
- Your puppy will continue to build confidence when engaging in new social situations which involve other pets, children and adults.
- Your puppy will have received all age appropriate vaccinations, dewormer, and vet checkup.
- Your puppy will start to reliably demonstrate control while being walked on leash.
- Your puppy’s schedule very closely mirrors your requested schedule.

- Yourpuppy will respond appropriately in new social situations which involve other pets, children and adults.
- Your puppy will have received all age appropriate vaccinations.
- Your puppy will exhibit control while being walked on leash.
- Your puppy’s schedule very closely mirrors your requested schedule.
